Simple Ways to Stay Fit During the Holidays

It’s the most wonderful (and busy) time of the year. Between holiday parties, gift shopping, and spending time with friends and family, the availability in our schedule seems to quickly diminish during this time of the year.

When we feel swamped with other obligations, it’s easy to push fitness (and our fitness goals) to the side, but by doing so, we're brushing off one of the few things that will help us stay grounded during the stress of the holiday season.

While it may seem impossible to squeeze into your schedule, committing to some kind of fitness regimen will save you from taking on too much stress during the holidays. Exercise not only helps manage stress but also increases serotonin, which helps boost mood and an overall sense of well being!

But, we get it. Sometimes spending an hour or two at the gym just isn’t achievable. So, here are some simple ways to stay fit during the holidays that won’t take up too much of your time.

Go for a post-meal walk

After your meals, make a commitment to take a short ten-minute walk around your neighborhood. It may not seem like much, but if you go for a walk after every meal, the time will add up!

Plus, walking after a meal kick starts digestion, which has huge benefits for your overall health.

Stop, drop and sweat

Set aside a chunk of time each day to move and stick with it. Check out the ones below if you are short on time or don’t have access to a gym.

Pick up jumping rope

Don’t have time for a thirty-minute workout? Then, try jumping rope! Jumping rope for only 10 minutes burns more calories than a 30-minute jog. So, if you’re in a time crunch, then jumping rope is the best quick cardio you can get!

Hit a hard workout before those big holiday meals

If you know you’re going to pig out over a big holiday meal (c’mon, we all do it), then hit a hard workout earlier that day. You’ll not only feel like you deserve that big feast, but you won’t feel bad taking in those excess calories.

Or, on the other hand, you’ll be more conscious about how much you consume. Either way, there’s plenty of benefits to getting a sweat session in before a big meal.

Join a holiday workout challenge

If you need help staying motivated during the holiday season, then join a workout challenge! Workout challenges are amazing because they not only introduce you to new and fun workout routines, but they also hold you accountable to your fitness goals.

But, what if you need help with motivation?

Uplift Max pre-workout is perfect for you! With only one to three scoops, you’ll experience clean and sustained energy that will carry you throughout your workout. Not to mention, Uplift Max also helps with enhanced performance and fast-twitch muscle activation.

What if you don’t have time to workout?

It happens and we totally get it! That’s why we created Her Nighttime Burn, an innovative sleep aid fat burner that helps burn fat while you sleep. Yes, while you sleep!

Her Nighttime Burn also promotes REM sleep, which will help you get the rest you need to have more energy for the holidays!

Curb your appetite

If overeating is all too familiar (again, we’ve all been there!), then our Shred Her Max can help!

Shred Her Max, and it's appetite suppressant, is perfect for those who can’t resist indulging. Just take 2 capsules before your next meal to experience its appetite-controlling benefits!

Even if you only have 10 minutes to squeeze in a quick workout, jump rope session or neighborhood stroll, that is far better than doing nothing. While the holiday season encourages selfless giving, remember that it’s just as crucial to take care of yourself. After all, you can’t pour from an empty cup!
